Quick Way To Erase MANY clumps of grass?

I have lots of clumps of grass scattered throughout the route. Would tae a lot of time to erase them. Is there a "null" asset that I could use to Replace the grass clumps?

Delete the asset via Content Manager, then go into Surveyor and do the "remove missing assets" thing you find in the menu.

If the asset is built-in, then first replace it by a not built-in asset and then do the above.

Thanks, now I faintly remember that process. If I forget again maybe I will remember who to ask.:D
One problem, I can't just delete the assets to be erased. They are the Ultra/mcguirel series and almost all of them have been obsoleted. So now creating a CDP from those assets on my system. I use them extensively on several routes so despite, some odd obsolescence, I hope this allows me to keep the full set on my system. Trusting software and computer.. hmmmm

What I do is to find an area with no objects in it, go the Tools tab, and deselect everything from the copy/paste function except objects. Then I copy an area with no objects and paste it into the area that I want to clear out. This removes all individual scenery objects, but doesn't effect splines or track items.

Replace the asset with another one such as a big palm tree and not one that's built-in, otherwise this won't work.

Save the route.

Go into Content Manager and delete the asset.

Open up the route again and delete the missing asset.

This worked for me when I wanted to remove some grass.

If it's in an open area, you can do as nfitzsimmons suggests. This works for all kinds of things.
