Question on bridge vs track vertexes

Hi! I have downloaded Arcade & Attica Midwest Impressions route, which looked like it might be a fun little route, if somewhat aged, but all of the bridges are missing. When I go into Surveyor and try to add trestles or bridges every one I try gets the error: trainz bridge cannot attach to this vertex. It sees them as different kinds. Is there some trick to getting bridges or trestles to attach to track?

To insert bridges, you need to attach the track to the bridge not the other way around. The quickest way is to hold down the SHIFT key while dragging the bridge into the space then getting heights and attaching track.

The trickiest part is ensuring the tracks and bridges aren't crooked when attached.

Thanks John, worked like a champ. Took me a bit to find a standard gauge trestle, LOL! Only had time to put in three trestles, but yes, in a test drive just of that, it looks like not a bad little route. Thanks again!
