Have you any suggestions of what I could try to resolve the problem with 'Save' that I have been having since I installed SP4 into 2009.
I have done numerous EDR's and even complete re-installs 3 times with no success. It affects all maps and sessions but I have now noticed that it is always the first use of Save after opening a map which gives the greyed out and kuid renumbering problem. If the map is kept open further uses of Save works normally but if the map is closed then re-opened, the greyed out on the first Save is always there and i have to re-edit all sessions to associate them with the changed kuid number of the map. I speculated that it might be something to do with the files being set as 'read only' if they were imported after the patch but a trial creating a new map in SP4 then editing it gives the same result. It is causing me all sorts of problems keeping track of which sessions go with which maps and the continual changes I am having to make manually to the session config files.
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.
