Question about traffic on roads

There is no tag that I know of in the config.txt file of a road spline or a region asset that would stop this anti-social behaviour by road users. As a side note from my observations in the real world signs such as "No Overtaking" or "Overtake on the Right" (in those countries that drive on the left or "correct side" of the road) has no effect on real drivers either so maybe Trainz is taking its cue from the real world.

I think the built-in animation was enhanced with passing traffic and vehicles moving at slightly different speeds when TANE came out. Can't find a reference for it however.
I remember that, Deane. There were instances on my own route where a vehicle was bobbing and weaving, a B&W driver darting around slower moving vehicles. The driver then did the expected and also blew right through closed crossing gates right in front of a moving train!

Isn't that ridiculous?? Man I wish N3V would at least fix that, or give us a script or something. and make it retroactive to TRS2019.

It is, but it's also realistic. ;-)

The good news is carz no longer drive uphill as if they're taking an escalator. When we were asked what features we wanted included in TRS2004 SP4, a service pack released to add some features and fix a number of things, we were asked what feature we would like. Among them was traffic that went up hills like vehicles do in the real world. We were warned at the time that this may impact performance.
