Question about driver mode in TS2012

Hi all,

Does the driver mode in TS2012 provide the same kind of information like on the Ipad. One of the things that always got me was when you went over speed because there is no way to know what the next speed limit is in TS2009 driver mode. You need to know the next speed limit and how far to the change in limits to get optimum performance on a route (timewise)

Thanks,

Try adding the following rule in the session set up.

mc Display Custom HUD V2

Works in TRS2006 & TS2009

I'm not familiar with the iPad, but in TS12, it'll tell you the next speed limit on the HUD for most routes as well as the next signal aspect, so you can plan ahead. I know at least some of the sessions enforce overspeed rules so that's good info to have.

In Content Manager make sure the rule is installed, otherwise download it from the download station.
In surveyor edit the session rules and select ADD, this will allow you to select MC display custom HUD and add it to your session.
when you start your session you will have an extra display showing how far it is to the next speed limit and the max speed, how far to the next signal and a couple of other things.

If you don,t mind the extra work you can rename your junctions which also appear on the HUD. So instead of a meaningless number appearing on your HUD you could have something like "Billings Crossover" and the distance to it. THe HUD also depicts a diagram of the Switch and which way it lays.

Another nice HUD is the one that comes with Marias Pass. It is called HP display Custom Hud and I use it on all my sessions.
