Question: 3rd party vs DLS assets

Hi guys,

I have a small question. Some content creators, while waiting for the DLS to process their upload (or not at all, if it's down as is becoming the norm), may also upload to a file host so that people can use their content. Now if this was me a year ago I'd have proceeded to download said release and put it in my route and it'll look real good and everyone's happy. However as I've become acquainted with the finer aspects of releasing a route and its dependencies, nowadays I usually refrain from doing so.

Ok, so let's say I go ahead and download from the file host and install it. It shows in Trainz as a red kuid. If and when the content is approved and ends up on the DLS, will my version (same kuid) automatically become yellow or will it remain red?

Turns yellow, I've done similar in the past.

I've had no problems with uploads this week all approved and available within 24 hours.

Oops! actually it turns white, yellow is builtin, white DLS.

What? When I put a builtin=true filter in Trainz I get white kuids. Perhaps someone can clarify? It would be useful if I could filter white+yellow content, this way session creation is less of a headache when it comes to rolling stock.

Think you need to double check that.

In surveyor
Yellow is:
Builtin = True

White is for 49922
Location = Local
Builtin = False

There is no option for installed or Local in SP1.
