As a Cairns resident for over twenty years, I'd like to see this one. Where can I see some photos please?

You'll find screenshots of it, in the Australian Screenshots thread on the forums, and I for one, am eagerly awaiting this route, as it promises to be a true work of art, and something I'm sure, Patchy will be proud of :)

Having downloaded your route Patchy, sadly, you've used a stack of non-DLS items, could you be so helpful, as to tell us where we can find these dependencies?

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated :)

P.S. Having just had the pleasure of running a 1502 class and SXVA set from Kuranda to Cairns (yes, I know a 1502 doesn't belong there, let alone a SXVA set), I got to say, I'm truly awestruck by the beautiful scenery and attention to detail that Patchy has put into this route. I'd take my hat off, but it got blown away. Absolutely outstanding Queensland Railways route, and well worth it (even if one ignores the missing non-DLS dependencies).

hey muliebuck your comments about sxva don't belong on kuranda, well your wrong sort of.i dug up a couple of old photo's

not quite run by qr but run by Kuranda Scenic Railway
so in a way the sxva's did run up to kuranda for a while
the shots were taken at Redlynch

Cairns Area

Patchy,

I have just had my first drive on your new route. Just brilliant!!!

Your scenery and use of textures really captures that North Qld feel. I love it.

And I will have to download some sugar trains!!!

The Lotharhake content needed topping up and your route calls up a couple of later versions than built in to TRS2006. A bit of fiddling around but it now has no faulty content or missing dependencies..

Congratulations mate.. A true masterpiece.

regards,

I stand corrected on the SXVA's then - as others have said, a true masterpiece of a route, just a few minor niggles, but well worth downloading and has become a much loved route - congratulations to you Patchy, you've set the bar pretty high for future QR themed routes I should think :)

thanks

thanks for everyones kind replies,
i'm going to continue the route to Mareeba,Atherton and Ravenshoe with the two defunct lines, Biboorha to Mt Molly and Tolga to Milla Milla in mind
i've just got to dig up some yard track plans from somwhere to continue keeping as realistic as i can.
many thanks again

cheers,
patchy

An interesting development - having spoken at length with the author of this fine route (commendations once again Patchy!), he tells me, the missing items are built-in to TRS2006 (and they are), however, the config for the route, claims these 'built-in' assets are the 'KUID2' format, which is incorrect - I've search the Auran download station, on the off-chance they've been 'updated', but no such luck. It would appear I'll have to delete the missing dependencies, and hopefully, they're not 'critical'.

Or is my CMP in 06 posessed by some malevolent spirit, intent on making me go crazy...oops, too late :P

hi mulie

did you ever work out how to fix the missing content?

the links to lothar hake dont exist anymore

im missing these
