QR Beaudesert Branch Line

Good on yer for persevering with this project. I am still watching and being retired, I am in no great hurry. Take your time and make a route you will be proud to upload.

At the moment the route is being levelled so not much going on, but I expect by early may I will be doing the scenery. Please keep update for more images.

hey all, again,

I have just successfully installed into trainz a important asset for the line. Waters Creek Bridge is the biggest and longest bridge on the Beaudesert Branch. The bridge is situated about 4km north of Beaudesert. I wish to thank willem2 for building this amazing asset for me. While I am at this stage, I also wish to thank Trainz89 for kindly levelling the Branch for me and laying the track. I also wich to thank petan for all the track diagrams and information. So here is the impressive structure.

Just another update of the BBL.


Waterford Station with the infamous cattle train passing through


Buccan Station with RM56 passing through


And Logan Village with RM56 at the station and a passanger train from Canungra passing through for STH Brisbane.

As always, I wish to thank Michael for his hard work on the project of levelling the route. So thanks mate for that.

Good Afternoon all,

Another Update of the BBL. Levelling is nearly complete and I am now moving onto the signals and signs. Trainz89 and I are building a model of the Beaudesert Station used with measurements and photos of the station remains. We are also building a model of the livestock shelter which still remains at Beaudesert today and we have also built a 40ft turntable for Beaudesert. We have also built a model of the Waterford Station. So now for some screenshots.

Good Afternoon all,

Another update of the QR Beaudesert Branch Line.

I have been focusing on the section between Bethania - Easterly Street ( about 1 mile south of Waterford Station ). It is coming along nicely and is beginning to look like a route. I have ran a few trains to Logan Village and 1 cattle train to Beaudesert. All whistle signs are in and most speed boards. So now for some screenshots.


These screenshots here are of Bethania and how the station is turning out.

PLEASE HELP!!
Along with my happy updates and great progress comes some downs which I just can't figure out. I have been using ATLS Traffic Stoppers on my level crossings. This is because I am using roads that have moving cars on them so when a train comes the cars will stop and it looks more real. I can't do this on curved crossings so I have attempted to use the strategy kentith45 has used on his Brisbane Valley branch at crossings. I have copied it completely but for some reason the cars just won't stop, I have tried google and tutorials but they won't help. If anyone could help, please can you send me a pm or reply on this thread.

Another small issue is profig trees or Speed Trees. I have been using these trees on the BBL and they make it seem so real. But, I have noticed that they are starting to lag the route up a bit. This is quit frustrating and am not sure why they are lagging the route up when profig trees aren't men't to chew away the memory, I also had this problem on kentith45's BVL. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated.

Sorry for my rambling on this time, But once these problems are fixed, I won't have any issues.

Hi,

Please ensure you have the latest version of ATLS on your system, particularly the ASLS Slave and correct Invisible Train. The versions 'Built-In' to TS12, (poss just SP1) do not function correctly.

The Slave should now be kuid2:76656:500012:7 and the Invisible Train, kuid2:76656:1158:2. Both are on the DLS.

Could you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give me some feedback as to whether the new versions fix your problem. It seems to on my system but I have had little or no feedback from other users on my recent updates. Also are you running TS12 SP1?

Just a quistion though boat, Where do I place the invisible train?.

Pofig's trees are speedtrees, you need plenty of computer power to have lots of them, which you don't.

Hi,

You don't need to place the Invisible Train anywhere. The Slave will use it automatically. You just need to ensure the latest version is on your system. Trainz will do the rest.

The only feedback I need is to see if uploading the latest assets cures your problem.

Good Evening Everyone.

@boat - I have tried it many times and it still doesn't seem to work. I made sure all the updated versions where installed and everything was connected up. It appears to be working just how it was before. It didn't stop any cars.
