Puzzled newbie

Hi everyone

I dug around on the archives in these forums by typing in the missing KUID first on a general google search term and came across that info about missing dependencies.

The ECML route and all its sessions on my Trainz takes a far while to load on my PC as it's a budget range custom-built gaming machine from 'Zoostorm' PC manufacturers and thus the graphics card is on-board and not a separate installation.

Hi Andy,

ECML takes a long time on my Cray computer. It's a big route with lots of content that needs loading.

I'm surprised that these textures haven't been included with the new versions of Trainz. They've been around since the early days.

Hi John,

My Zoostorm (Windows 7 Home premium edition) computer doesn't like any of the in-built routes. Can't be bothered in messing about with stand-alone graphics cards as the first & foremost priority for my PC is my iTunes and all my music stored on it, and having Trainz2012 (bought from GAME in King's Lynn, Norfolk) gives me the opportunity to attempt recreating the former railways around my home town.

I also have, but not installed on the PC, 'Trainz2009' and the stand-alone game 'Train Driver' (West Somerset Railway), both purchased from the King's Lynn branch of Maplins electronics store.

As of today (7th Oct) I'm re-building all trackwork from my Wisbech to Middle Drove stations to make it more easier for the eventual running of my heritage based railway on that section of line. I'm getting the hang of properly re-building ladder (yard) points now so as to cram in as much rolling stock as possible on the sidings. lol.

* My mint condition Hornby Railways BR Class 06 has yet to be properly run on a layout. Until this happens, my favourite little loco always stays boxed up.

* Hornby Railways BR Class 08 weathered - this was bought second-hand but the motor runs as smooth as the day it was first built.

Andy.
