Putting HOG Maps into TS 2010

Hey,
I'm somewhat of a newbie to using DEM and TIGER to create the baseboards. Where do you put the HOG created files into TS 2010? I can't seem to figure it out.

I'm assuming you have created and saved "mapfile.gnd" in HOG:

1. In Surveyor create a blank route and save it
2. In CMP open the route you just created for edit in Explorer
3. Replace the "mapfile.gnd" in the route with the one you created in HOG
NOTE: It must be named "mapfile.gnd", if you called it something else when you generated it HOG, rename it
4. Commit the route

There is a very good tutorial at http://freepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wewain/trainz/Surveyor/Baseboard/Topology/TerrainGeneration/Computer-generatedTerrain.htm. It was written for 2004, but the basic principals still apply.

Sorry you had a problem. The link works for me in Explorer. Maybe it's a browser issue. At least you got to the tutorial.
