purchased content disappeared after uninstalling

I was going to reinstall content on the content store because I was having "not active" issues on assets bought from Jointed Rail, but when I clicked uninstall, they disappeared, Steam still says I have them, but they can't be found anywhere. I have tried reinstalling the assets from Jointed Rail, but it just gives me the same "not active" message.
