Protrain Perfect and TRS2009 BETA

This is a two part question. First off, I have downloaded Protrain Perfect Munich to Nuremburg, and I do not know how to the install the file, because they are not CDPs, but some other file type. Anyone know how to download these files? Also, can I install this with the beta?

I thought that Pro Train Perfect was for the MSTS?
Or am I out of touch with newer stuff?

Protrain is for MSTS. Protrain Perfect is for trainz.

As PP is being developed by BlueSky for Germany, perhaps they will give you an answer. I believe one needs the program PP from them to install your download to it but I might be wrong on that as I do not have PP.

Reading the German TRS forum sometimes I believe BlueSky's PP is slightly altered or somewhat more different to our generic TRS versions, your PP d/load might not be compatible with the generic AURAN TRS versions. I also believe BlueSky had a fallout with AURAN some time ago where AURAN distanced themselves from PP but do not hold me to it, I might be mistaken.

What format is your d/load? Is it a Zip, Rar or even an Exe? If your d/load is an "exe", sometimes you can expand these with either WinZip or WinRAR to see if there are any read me files there for installing them or the (PP's) web site from where you d/loaded might have more install info there.

Let us know please if you are successful with the AddOn and how it is looking as others might want this d/loaded too. Or post in the German TRS forum your query as a lot of Germans learn english in school and might give you an answer in english there, as PP is being published for Germany.

Sorry for the late response, but It is an EXE. When Running it, it requires to unpack files. It then starts the download wizard. There are alot of invalid .fdt files, and it is very confusing. Besides, It does not even detect your auran file. I do notknow howto approach this

I have a feeling you need Protrain Perfect to run your add on, why not send Protrain an email? Or study their web site re your add on? But then again, I might be wrong
