Problems with using two locomotives that were downloaded from content

Admittedly I am still a rookie to Trainz 12, so that aside: I have been happily building my model railroad (the C&O in Russell and Ashland, Kentucky) and have been grateful that someone posted C&O cars and locomotives to the general content lists for download, which I have taken advantage of heavily. But I am having the strangest time with two locomotives--the Alco S2 C&O 5051 and the little yard worker, 44T C&O 8303. Both of these are easily placed on my layout and can be in-cab operated; but while I can operate their brakes with success and the throttle seems to engage and the sounds begin, the loco's will not move! (and yes the air brakes are released, rookie yes, novice no, LOL) It has completely baffled me to no end! I even took operating loco's and coupled them to these immovable ALCO's and can easily move them and allow them to roll freely on the track, then use their brakes, but the program will not allow their locomotion to engage! Has anyone else experienced such a strange situation? And if so how did you fix it?

The problem is during the DLS cleanup project, someone mangled the engine specs for those models so now they only work in DCC mode.

There are replacement espec on the DLS you can substitute that will get them working in cab mode again.
