1st off my specs 13900k i9 nvidea 3090 24g 64g ram (trainz installed on ssd)
(i have not installed the latest update a the dramas i had fixing stuff after the previous one im wary of installing updates till im 100% sure)

Im having a few issues that i need to sort with trainz 2022

1. After previous update my menu at the top became see through and i cannot see to change it back , not sure why anyone thought that was a good idea but it is very easy to accidently place or delete something if you miss by just a bit with your mouth click. Is there any way to revert this?

2. My lod texture for the map is a light green color not the even close to the textures used

Ok the copy and paste issue
(id love to be able to add pics but forum will not let me and yes i can see the img button) also excuse the 2nd post but it locked up whilst trying add an image from imbb and the only way to unlock it without losing what i had already typed was to submit post then it turns out you cant edit the post.
So excuse me if i seem a little short.....

The copy and paste issue would be easy to explain if i could add pics but as i cant here goes when i copy and paste in surveyor 1 with all buttons enabled when pasting it completely ruins the textures if turned to anything but north even if north only it has small section of pasted area with textures messed up

fill in the water areas and you will be all set.. those areas you see are where the baseboards join together to make one.. its not messed up at all.. easy fix for this one.

Sorry mate but the one at north direction (final pic) is much more messed than it looks in pic , but issue is shown in the pic above 4 different textures have been replaced by sand texture shows the problem better. Also its not the missing water thats the problem , that is easily fixed.

your eyes are playing tricks on ya because i don't see the problem at all? lol

I am a bit confused. Your picture in post #3 above shows that you are using Surveyor 2.0 while the others all show Surveyor Classic when you are pasting.

Surveyor 2.0 has tools and palettes which give you far greater control over copying and pasting that the old tools in Classic ever did.

The Surveyor 2.0 Filter Palette allows you to select the objects that will be copied and the Scrapbook Palette allows you to select which objects will be pasted and how they will be pasted.

It is not clear if the water you are using is the old legacy water or a new Water Effect Layer. Likewise do you have other Effect Layers (e.g. TurfFX and/or Clutter) in the area being copied and pasted? Are some of the textured areas Effect layers? The answers could explain some of the issues you are having.

The Surveyor 2.0 Scrapbook Palette allows you to include or filter out textures, effect layers, ground heights and different types of scenery objects. Perhaps you should be looking at using those options.

There is a Trainz Wiki Page covering the use of the Surveyor 2.0 Scrapbook at How_to_Use_S20_Tools#Scrapbook_Data and the Marquee Tool ued to capture an area for copying at How_to_Use_S20_Tools#The_Marquee_Tool
