Problems downloading the R42 subway train

Hello,
What version of trainz are you using? If you are using 2004 use TrainzObjects to look for missing dependencies. If using 2006 or TC use CMP and use CM2 with 2009.
If the item you downloaded is a re-skin you may have to download the original as well. What is the KUID of the item you are trying to get in to Trainz?

Since you are using Trainz Classics, it is extremely likely that you are missing dependencies. I have searched breifly for both the car and creator but they are not on the DLS and my quick search did not find them on the web either. Admittedly, I did not do an extensive search as this item is not something I would ever use.
You may have to import items from 2006 to get built-in content. Again, I can not say for sure since i was not able to find the item to check out it's dependencies.

Okay, it's a zip file on FileFront. I downloaded it and unpacked it on my desktop. It unpacks to one folder NYCTA R142 Beta2, and has three cdp files inside. I used the file/importcdps command in Classics to import the htree files, then commited each. They show up with no errors or missing dependencies.
