PROBLEM WITH TRAINZ 2009-Can't load from surveyor the driving mode

Hello everyone,
it has occurred to me some problem on my ts2009:
when I'm on surveyor mode and I press the button to drive trains, i press save to my session but then it doesn't load up. And I can still mange to move the mouse and pressing other buttons. I'm sure that it must of been a fault by installing some content from "TRAINZ 2009 SODOR ISLAND 3D". because that was the only content that I installed at the time. But if anyone can help me, please do.

I normally avoid that button - it is best to exit surveyor (exiting completely is a good idea) then go into Driver.

What build is your version(as it may require a patch)?

I got service pack 3 41844.
I'm just not sure to put service pack 4 yet...

At the moment, there are some issues with the SP4 patch.

In the meantime, you are best exiting the game before going into Driver.

Continue patching. It will cause you major issues if you interrupt it.

sorry again, but my patching seems to be in a complete halt. what should i do?
I'm at half way of patching and it doesn't seem to continue.

It may remain like that for a few hours actually. Time to watch TV.

My SP4 patching took several hours and appeared to stop in the middle - the reason for this is because it is updating some .ja files in the background.

Let it finish, as cancelling it will mean reinstalling.

ah, ok infact on my ts2009 i've got loads of stuff . so anyway i'm actually using a different computer. and i'm leaving the other by itself doing the patching

As long as you bear the bugs in mind, you should be OK (there are some bugs on there that can be classed as major, but at the moment, several people (including me) are probably awaiting a patch for the bugs.

Hello again, i didn't notice any bugs on my ts2009. and ts2010 content seems to be fully compatible!

Be aware that you will probably not be able to use any speedtree content, and some routes may behave differently in TS2009 SP4.
