I am not sure if this is the right place to write about it, but I can't find any other.
Few minutes ago I submitted a new thread. It took me few minutes to write it, correct content, spelling mistakes, add tags, etc. When I was happy with my work I clicked on the button "Submit New Thread", but nothing was submitted. Instead, there was a message saying I need to login. I was already login, or otherwise I would not be able to start a new thread. Option "You may post new threads" was listed in my Posting Permission. I guess after a certain amount time (what exactly?) I was auto logged out, however this function was not communicated back to my browser (Firefox 22.0, running on Windows XP 32 bit). It would be nice to know that my session expired and I need to re-login or I risk loosing the content I typed on. The Auto-Saved function helps and the frequency may be increased, but if you type even as slowly as myself, you could still lose much content, especially when you run text auto-correction, etc.
To continue I had to login again, which I did, but then my browser redirected me to a blank page. My thread was no longer there. I had to type in the forum address again and start navigating from the main page, opening new thread, etc. Then I could use auto-saved function, but there were still many things missing (tags are not auto-saved). Fortunately, before I clicked the submit button I used copy function in my browser.
This is really frustrating. How others can tolerate such sloppy performance?
