Problem with content

Hello.

Try opening it for edit in Explorer, not CCP. Edit the config by opening it in Notepad or any other simple .txt editing application.

You can use AssetX from the PEVSoft site to fix the bogey problem. A bogey table needs to be written, and AssetX does this well.

For the category-region error, just remove the -0 at the end.

For the category-era error, put category-era "1940s,1950s,1960s,1970s,1980s,1990s,2000s,2010s" and delete the other tags (category-era-1, -2, etc)
You can remove the name and asset-filename lines.

I hope this helps.

Kieran.

I should also mention that editing in CCP causes more problems than it fixes. Always fix errors usng the Edit in Explorer method.

Thanks for the help captain, (Easier to say than your full username;)) but somehow, the problem just solved itself. Don't ask me why: I honestly don't know.

But as for everyone else, there's a problem with the terrier cab: for some reason, when I touch a lever, it won't move. Only these ones work: sanding lever, brake, cylinder cocks, water valves, and whistle. The others only work when I touch the driver icons at the bottom right corner of the screen. Does anybody know how ti fix this?

This is a known TS12 bug. I think there is a fix, but it is rather crude as it puts a faint black box around all the levers.

Hello All!

I have problem with Dmdrake's asset Ezell-Key Feeds <kuid2:33404:502470:2>

CMP report:

Warning: This asset uses an obsolete trainz-build number. Trainz-build numbers below 2.7 are no longer supported.
Warning: Required container 'thumbnails' is missing.
Error: Attachment point attachment (a.smoke0) in 'smoke0' was not found.

How I can fix this, or where I can find fixed version?

Thanks for any help!

Andrey

Hi Andrey,

Just remove the smoke table referencing a.smoke0 from the asset. Or take a look at the mesh in Mesh Viewer and see what the smoke attachment is really called, if it exists.

Kieran.

Well, I originally intended to create it for my own needs, but I'm not selfish. To prove it, this thread is now for everybody! :D

But I have a missing kuid for the driveable version of the DONJ Tugboat Norrsundet:

Unknown Location: <kuid:177292:204091>

I know it says to go to this website here: http://www.e-buzz.se/forum/index.php

But that website isn't in English and I couldn't get help. Does anybody know what it is, and more importantly, if it's needed?

Well, ignoring that, I have some problems with zxr400's class 33, which is needed for a session:

Error: Unable to load image file 'buffermetal.tga' for texture 'class_33_2_br_green_body\buffermetal.texture.txt' while validating mesh 'class_33_2_br_green_body\class_33_2_br_green_body.lm'
Error: Unable to load primary texture 'class_33_2_br_green_body/buffermetal.tga' for texture file 'class_33_2_br_green_body/buffermetal.texture.txt'.
Error: Binary conversion failed for texture resource 'class_33_2_br_green_body/buffermetal.texture.txt'.

I tried in several ways in vain to get rid of them, like deleting the .txt files for textures that weren't included, but it didn't work. Does anybody have a solution?

I would suggest creating a buffermetal.tga file in the class_33_2_br_green_body folder. This needs to be saved uncompressed, and needs to be a power of 2.

That sounds like a perfect solution, but there's one problem: to be honest, I've never done such a thing before. Also, how do you resize it?

If you've never created a .tga file before, it may be easier to just delete the .texture.txt files mentioned in the error.

Shane

Well, the problem's fixed now. But I'm missing these dependencies for Fallowfield Goods yard session:

I know I may sou8nd pushy, but something tells me that the route won't work without the other KUIDs. So, does anybody know what they are?
