problem with computer

I bought trainz 12 nv3 I had a 2.6 processor 8 gig memory with a gforce 550 1 gig card this computer ran hot and frame rate was slow .. so I bought a cyberpower 3.5 processor 16 gig memory and put my video card ......framewas a lot better but started to get blue screen also the trainz program started shutting down a lot what happened computer guys

We could do with full system specifications, as it sounds like you've either got an overheating system or something seriously wrong with one of the drivers (probably graphics).

also is the amd processor any good or should I stick with the intel i7 3770. I can get a amd 4.0 hz or intel 3.5 or is the trainz 12 from n3v corrupt

I pulled the card and it is still shutting down

I would look into the possibility of overheating or PSU failures in that case (PSU = Power Supply Unit).

Even brand new computers can overheat if subjected to a demanding enough process - does this shutting down issue crop up with anything else?

yup I think I got a bad computer ..did not do it at first but after a few hours it got worse and worse it is shutting down even if the trainz program is not running or in idle mode...thank god I bought it from Costco... my old less powerful computer ran better than this one.. except for frame rate

Ever wonder why COSTCO is "cheap"? You'd be better off going to an on-line source, and build your own.

900-00 has a 3.5 i7 3770 processor 16 gig memory 2 terabyte hard drive but this computer is made by cyberforce.....i dont consider costco cheap but then you may make alot more money than me ... but i love there 90 day return policy on computers plus they extend the manufacture warranty by 2 years will trainz12 run on windows 8 also as you can see i dont know a lot about computers

For the same price, I think you could have built something better. Maybe have some left over for some payware for your trainz.

Yes. Some folk have reported a few problems with one of the "background" programs and that has been reported as fixed in Service Pack 1.

If your computer is overheating then maybe internal fans are not working properly or the computer is not getting sufficient ventilation. When my computer starts getting up around 40+ centigrade I sometimes remove the side cover and place a desk fan next to it. That would only for really hot days (greater than 36c/100f).
