hey im having a problem with alfred and the problem is this
Error: Texture 'asset_body/env_metal.texture' is missing or could not be loaded for mesh 'asset_body\asset_body.im'.
can someone help me with it ?
I think that all you need to do is open Alfred for edit in Explorer as well as another asset with env_metal.texture in it, and copy the file over. Commit Alfred and Revert the item you got the texture from. I recommend looking inside a working SI3D engine for the missing texture to copy.
I've found a number of older assets that won't load env_metal.texture, either in .tga or .bmp format. And these were known good copies from working assets. Even tried using PM2IM to stirip out invalid textures. I finally wrote it off as a mesh problem and quit trying.
The only other thing I can suggest is to download Textures2TGA from the PEVSoft site and convert every texture thst way. The texture.txt files will be made too, and you will end up with TGA's.
