Hi guys,
I bought Trainz 12 back in May as a companion to Railworks 2, and I must say I enjoy them both. I especially enjoy the modability of Trainz, and while I prefer Railworks for the driving aspect, I love the feel of Trainz being more than just a single rail line. Each have their strengths, and are a far cry from playing MSTS back in the day.
I bought Trainz 12 directly from Auran's website, but during the recent Steam Black Friday sale I bought Trains 2009, 2010, and Settle and Carlisle and imported all of their content over to my Trainz 12 installation. It all works flawlessly, except for one thing -- the Amtrak AEM-7 has gone from a knuckle coupler to a buffer and chain coupler. How do I go about fixing this? I am certain it was not like this before I brought over the TS 2009, TS 2010, and TS Settle and Carlisle files. I also noticed a few other oddities, such as sounds getting switched, I believe one of my UP Diesels went to a Steam whistle for the horn, but I fixed that with the CM.
To import, I just copied all of the .ja files in the built in file over, then added the appropriate serial number to my Trainz 12 options menu. Did this biff it somehow? Thanks in advance!
