Problem dowloading TRS2019

Hi Trainzland!

'A Happy New Year' to you all!

My Dear Wife purchased the TRS19 North American Edition for me as a Christmas present. (Trainz keeps me out of her hair!)

I have tried three times to download the program without success and I have run out of ideas now!


I follow the download instructions and all seems well. BUT, on completion of the download sequence - I get.


1. Checking Payload Data
2. Op Failed
3. Installation Data Checksum Failed
4. Then I have nothing.


I cannot find a similar post in the forums and I would welcome any suggestions!

The default location is the C drive, make sure you have plenty of room. Even if you ask to install it on another drive, the data folder will still go to the C drive which can be moved once it is installed.
 
Do you have enough space on your computer? if your on a macbook you will have a hard time with that, comes from personal experience.
 
Thanks to both ExtraCredit abd Stagecoach for their suggestions,

I cleared my Recycle bin and deleted a couple of programs that I hardly ever use, checked the C:/ drive - I discovered that The acutal capacity is 923GB, Used 204GB, Free space 719GB!

I then tried to download as before- at the checking cycle I again got the OP failed - Installation data checksum failed as before.

This is way above my computer skills so it looks as it is a job for Captain Helpdesk!

You have plenty space so much is clear


I had bought the Euro version in 2019 and simply downloaded (the online installer) while using Microsoft Edge
sweat in my hands if it would download ok, but it did.


What browser do you use? (edge build-in Windows10 worked for me)
What kind of connection you have?
Did you wait for it to fully complete? (windows gives you a message normally)
