Problem after installing Windows 7

I've recently converted from Windows XP to Windows 7 - successfully for the most part. BUT when I make a modification to a Route in Surveyor I get the following message "Session was saved successfully but Surveyor was unable to commit it to the Trainz Asset Database. This task can be completed in CMP".
I'm stuck - How do I complete the task in CMP as the message says?

Hello,

When you click on the desktop shortcut and the Launcher opens, select Content to go to Content Manager (Or CM for short - CMP is the TRS2006 name).

In there, you can search for your route, select it, and press Ctrl + M to commit it to the game.

The cause of this issue is most likely Trainz being in the Program Files folder, which is the default installation location. Running the game as Administrator (R-click --> Run as Administrator) usually solves the problem. Another way to run Trainz as administrator is to navigate to the Trainz.exe file, right-click on it, go to Properties then Compatibility, and tick the Run as Administrator box.

I hope this helps and wasn't too complex. :)

Kieran.

What he says, but more too. Go to any Trainz EXE file (navigate to the actual folder), right click and customize permissions to have yourself run as Administrator. Any shortcuts, [Alt]+[Enter] and do the same in the advanced tab. Understand what is going on. WINDOWS is written for multiple users in a corporate office environment, and wants to constrain files with permissions settings, so Molly C. can't look and Suzy Q's files, etc. You are you (Check in a mirror, perhaps?) so you should run as Administrator, so aside from the above, goto Users from the control panel as the Administrator, and make you the username you use also an Administrator...

If running TRS2006, the TC's or earlier versions, open Trainzoptions.txt and add the line:
Code:
-Intro=disable
Good luck!
