And three months is not the far away, I belive that Auran has in the past allowed and asked if users would like to Pre-Order before.

The only problem is that SOME people have complaned about being charged stright a way for the program and have had to wait. Which seems dumb to me, as that is what pre-ordering is all about.

Pre-Orders from Auran usually happen a month to a week before the normal ordering opens. Seeing as they do not even know yet which routes will be included; I don't think Pre-Ordering will open up soon. You should at least wait until they have put out some sort of "Advertisement"

If I did support the deleting of some threads, this is one I would get rid of asap - too much agression over absolutely nothing. Seems to be an example of what is fast becoming quite a common type of thread - members who won't listen or take advice (why?) members who seem to know everything after a few minutes membership (why?).
I prefer the friendly and helpful attitude that has been the cornerstone of this community for many years but is certainly under threat by what is fast becoming the 'new forum'.
After years of highs and lows, this forum has provided me with a lot of entertainment, support, guidence and just somewhere to visit.
After a break of a few weeks while I was on holiday and where I was unable to access the internet, when I returned, for the first time, I was unshure if I really wanted to catch up on what was happening on this forum - it just hasn't got the right feeling just now!!!!!
The test, of course, can be so easy and perhaps measured from responses to these comments.
I'm not looking for any and would prefer to avoid the glib, smart and supposed expert responses that really achieve nothing and actually embody mostly all of what I have outlined........

I hate to bring this topic back up, but with the look of things preorders mind in the the near future ranging from anywhere before Christmas. If Auran is staying with tradition then Trainz 2009 will be out in 2008.

TRS04 was released in 03
TRS06 was released in 05
By that pattern then:
TRS09 should be released in 08.

P.S. Auran has released that it will be available November 08. It's in the Headline below the words Launch Plans

I am not sure who to take sides with.

Quiebus would probably win in a fist fight as he appears more of an alpha dog in our cyber community.

But you never know, in todays liberal world, with various support groups available, freightcar2 might pull through to live another day.

Rules: No hair pulling, biting, scratching, spitting, poking, choking or projectile weapons.

All I said was that TS2009 was due for release in November 2008. Then you started saying that it is too early for pre-orders since there are none in the shop. But what about next month? Will you still be saying it is too early? November really isn't that far you know.

Oh, and how about "thinking before you speak"? :)

And I am not a snot! :mad:

For pete's sake give him an infraction ! :n:
