"Forum"/"Quick Links"/"Todays Posts" is very valuable tool.

The "Edit Post"/ "Advanced Edit" button is very valuable tool.

==============================================
The "Mark Forums Read" button should be totally removed ... Isn't it a bit like: "Do you want to delete all", and "screw things up button" ? Yes/No

And the "Quick Links" button should be put in the "Mark Forums Read" place.

Sometimes the "Search" button does not return a result.

Pale Blue Text ... Come On Now ... Who thought that color scheme up ? Smooth move Ex-Lax !

If you can read this ... UR Blind !

I never use them.

I disagree. My 2nd most used button, 1st being "reply to".

Yes please, and also the other way around. Saves me having to go into a menu to click on "Mark read" and makes a button I never use disappear under a menu.

Make that "hardly ever". Hmmm, maybe we agree on something! :p

Absolutely nothing wrong with the collor setting of this forum. Perfectly readable on all the 4 different screens I use it on (3 different flat PC screens and 1 iPad, not all owned and controlled by me).
Then again, I am not collor blind and have my glasses at the right strength.

f you can read this ... UR Blind !
No clue what this line has to do with the rest of the post, since it is in anoying different collors then the rest of the forum. Hard, but not impossible to read btw.

Taste is one thing. I agree it aint the most sexy collor scheme, but its perfectly readable.
I recently had my eyes checked and I didnt need stronger glasses, but maybe you do?
Or maybe you are collor blind (like 1 out of ever 20 man) and that makes it harder to read; I dont know, I aint.

I can live with buttons not being in the perfect place for me; I say fix search and all is done.

How about fixing the Quick Navigation thingy?

Click on it, and it opens up a menu. Big Whoopy do! In the old menu this used to actually work where you could open the link to another forum if you wanted, or just click on the one showing to go that current forum.

To get around this, I click Top then use the links at the top part of the the forum to get back to where I want to go.

As I have said in a previous post about the colour scheme and the website design,

The impression of the colour scheme is not railway related at all, it is like visiting a medical helpline website, the colour scheme gives off a medical website impression, I do understand were cascaderailroad is coming from with regards to the blue text, I agree this can be hard to read, especially if you do not have the best eyesight.

It is wierd how they have blue text as the main title, but black and white writing everywhere else, it just seems miss-matched, like ice cream on toast, it doesn't look right.

I use "Color That Site" tool and am viewing black text on white background.

Search is a faulty item.

All the other stuff I also like.

I like to check the 'new posts' when I come on here and the count/number of pages seems to be consistently off (eg. today it claimed there were 8 pages of new posts, when in fact I could only bring up 7). Also, you can't go direct to the last page of the series of pages brought up by a search like you could before which is quite inconvenient.

I really don't care much for the color scheme either, but what I do object to the the sluggishness of the pages. Most times, I can count on around 10-15 seconds for a page to load fully. I keep an eye on my Firefox status line and it is almost always stating that it is "Waiting for forums.auran.com". I do a lot of navigating to another site in a another tab and just keep an eye on the forum tab to see when it finally loads.
