A BNSF coal drag runs east on the Montana Rail Link route. 240 empty cars roar down the tracks at midnight. A lone rail fan catches a shot of this big train as it serpentine down the line.

So..its back to the whole BNSF VS UP thing!

Just kidding.

Thats an AMAZING shot, I just wish my computer could handle that much motive power in one place.

Here's another BNSF shot. A Empty center beam train has passed the coal drag and heads west.

JIb228, two things:
1- NO, i have nothing against BNSF, i just happen to be a UP nut:D , hey, bottom line is its all about Trains, no matter what road you happen to like;) .

2- Thanks for the complement!:) My computer handles Trainz NO PROBLEM, i have:

AMD Phenom Extreme Quad Core 9600 2.3GHz
6 gigs RAM
Windows Vista 64bit Home Premium
NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT
Sound Blaster 5.0 suround sound (6 speakers including the subwoofer)
24'' Gateway HD Monitor

I know, I was just reading some thing and it said some thing about how BNSF is the only real competitor to UP

And really, I run BNSF in Trainz, but am planing CSX form my model railroad. With both UP and BNSF rolling stock as I have seen both roads as well as others on the tracks near my house.

Drats...I have no other good screen shots to post. Guess Ill have to play some TRS and get more.

And, where'd you get those tracks? Second one is Jointed Rail payware for the Apalachicola fictional road.

Cheerio,
Nicholas.

P.S. does anyone know how to get the headlights to stop saying HEAD LIGHT when looking at it from all angles? It never used to happen and now for the past month or so I cannot get rid of it.

In answer to the questions-

@Matt - many thanks, the Long Island Railroad GP38-2s (first shot) are a custom mesh Justin Cornell did that I'm reskinning, as to whether they'll be released I'm not sure. These aren't the ones that are on USLW, that's an old and outdated mesh as well as skin. The second engine is also the LIRR GP38-2 mesh, a fictional shortline reskin done by me also. (Not the Apalachicola road)

@Nicholas - the track is Justin Cornell's mesh, another skin done by myself. No plans to release as of now, haven't talked to Justin yet and there's more skins to come on those.

Great shots all.

I don't know if Fictional railroads count in this thread but I wanna put my favorite screenshot
