Chillin'
For any of you wondering what happened to my LB&N route, I've decided to put that on the back burner for a bit. I felt like my progress was pretty slow seeing as it took me a few days to get only 3 miles done. Maybe some day I'll get back to it haha.
The new project I've been working on was inspired by the freelanced shortline group project being worked on by a few guys over at Trainz Forums. I would strongly recommend checking it out!

So I decided to make my own shortline (I realize the LB&N was too but I felt like it didn't have a "purpose") that ran through PA.
-------------------------------------------The Portstown & Turtle Creek RR------------------------------------------------
With the termination of Conrail approaching, the Portstown Branch was put up for sale. 6 railroad tycoons purchased the route and thus, the Portstown & Turtle Creek RR was born. The 20 miles of trackage runs from the town of Portstown and follows the Turtle Creek north until the tracks reach the interchange point with Norfolk Southern in Lewisberry. The P&TC services many local industries and also transports Pennsylvania anthracite from the small local mines in the mountainous regions of Portstown to the rest of the railroad network through interchanges in Lewisberry.
P&TC owns two GP38-2s, a pair of SW1200s, and a leased SD45-2. They also own a handful of boxcars and are slowly starting to build up a rolling stock fleet.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you haven't noticed, the route is a WIP lol. Hopefully this will get further than the LB&N!
PL1 creeps past Overhead Door Corp through the edge of Portstown
PL2 running long hood forward in the wee hours of the morning
Enjoy!
