Thanks for the information.
What I am trying to do is just drive several unspecified trains westbound, for example: Starting at Huntingdon through Tunnelhill, (up the PRR Horseshoe Curve-East Slope route), where it will go in the Tunnelhill tunnels (an Iportal). And I close that route. That portion of the route is huge alone. That is why I need to break it up into more managable segments.
Opening up the West Slope route, I find that at Galitzin tunnels Iportal, the same unspecified trains will be emerging, all of them, without having to set up a driver, and without having to assign a drive to point, these unspecified trains continue all on their own AI control, until they meet a less than favorable signal, or a missaligned switch junction.
Iportal does this automaticly...where as with portals, they seem to require me to assign a driver, and assign a drive to point for each emerging train.
Plus with Iportal, someone from Austrialia could send me a train, and vice versa. Soon (Possibly November this year) I hope to distribute my route to the community, were that guy in Austrailia or down the street would be the West Slope Dispatcher...and I would be the East Slope Dispatcher, sending eastbound and westbound trains to each other.
