Poll, Lionel or MTH?

Or how about those old Coca-Cola Christmas ads, with the Santa Claus and the train which is clearly Lionel. Boy, those are classic's, I actually own a six pack of those old coke bottles from Christmas. Never opened.

Among these choices; has to be Lionel!

I also favor Athearn, usage of LEGO bricks, and sometimes Bachmann, but obviously they aren't choices on this thread...

LEGO Trains allows YOU to build buildings and everything very easily.

...I don't think I would like to drink those.

LIONEL all the way. I started out with the Crayola Starter Set. It had a four wheel switcher, a gondola, a boxcar, and a caboose. It was my first electric train set.

About three years ago, I left HO (and a lot of HO trains) and got the Polar Express set. A little bit after that, my grandfather gave me his old Lionel train from '47. My next birthday I got a Williams Electric Trains (R.I.P.) CSX Dash-9 loco. Pretty soon I will probably get the Legacy system (YEEEEESSSSS!!!!!), a Legacy NYC GP7, and a Legacy Conrail SD80mac.

Well that wasn't exactly on topic, but Marklin is nice (I have some) and lego is cool.
Still, Lionel beats all.

what scale is this poll related to?

If it's HO, then I choose MTH (even thought I own neither). Mainly because MTH stayed with the HO market longer, and the fact that they are about to release one well-needed model for the UP fans:
