I know this is probably in the wrong forum, but I have 2 questions:
How Do I PM (Private message)?
How do I recieve a PM?

Both of these can be done by clicking Private Messages above. To send a new message, you need to know who you are sending to. Received ones will appear on the right-hand side of that screen. To send one, click Send New Message.

It's been there since the forum upgrade (and in a different form before that), but it's not one that users use very often.

From reading lots of posts, it sounds like people use PMs quite a bit, like to ask original creators of content if they can release reskinned versions, but I might be wrong. I don't know what the old forum was like at all, though.

Some do, but it varies. I know I use it sometimes, as they are good for sensitive transmissions between users.

PM's are a great to free up the forum from, clutter, and run on questions like: Where did you get those ... how did you do that ... etc ... ?

Via a PM, many, many questions, and entailed instructions can be cleared up without clogging the forum.

Also, if you L/click on the posters name in the post, a box opens that gives 'private message' as one of the options.
