please help with surveyor

i have tried everything but all the locos i download and content i update turn up black when i use them i have reinstalled the game and updated it to sp3 my computer is top notch gameing i bought just for my sim games can anyone help me the people who made this game offer me nothing but want me to buy first class ticket i would buy it if the content worked or some help getting it to work i have been trying for 3 days now.

I every so often have had track and trains turn black ... usually it is because of a faulty asset you previously downloaded.

In Content Manager, choose File -> Settings, choose the Miscellaneous tab, then uncheck the "Enable hardware accelerated texture compression" box. Next, open for edit all of the assets that have turned black, then commit them.

the only thing was the santa fe warbonnet dash9-44cw the asset for that one downloads but never finishes but y would that affect my buildings and industries

question also

I just bought the game and its really different from my previous versions. I cannot figure out how to be able to switch my train from track to track with the levers that are not where they are suppose to be. Neither can I find where they are located. If anyone could tell me how to put a lever onto a switch that would be great.

First you register your version of Trainz

Using the track tab, go one over to trackside tab ... there you can find levers of your choice, and add, or delete levers, to change them, or tug them around.

A turnout lever can get shifted ... and from looking straight down, tug on the lever until it is in the middle of a spline point circle.
