When I download Trainz loco's, rolling stock, and other stuff, some of it is ok and others not. Please help me, it's really bugging me.

After downloading you have to commit it if you don't have the Automatically commit when installing CDPs box checked in File - Settings - Miscellaneous. Then check the kuids you just downloaded in the main window of CM3.3 to see it they have errors or missing dependencies. If the status icons are showing problems you'll have to fix them before they will show up in Surveyor or Railyard. If you have problems you can't fix, post the kuid number(s) and error messages here and we'll help.

Some of your content might be meant for older versions of Trainz and, as rweber stated, might be faulty or have errors in them. Other than fixing these errors manually for each piece of content (a long and time-consuming task), you could try running 2010 in 'Compatibility Mode' - this is a feature of 2010 which makes the software ignore errors in faulty content, making most content work that didn't before.

However, some faulty content will not even work with this feature, plus there is a slight drop in picture smoothness (or frame-rate) compared to 2010's normal mode (or 'Native Mode').

To turn on Compatibility Mode, in Surveyor or Driver, select the main menu at the top of the screen and click on 'Settings', and 'Video Settings'. Then tick the box next to 'Turn on Compatibility Mode' and select 'OK' (you might have to move the menu window down a bit to find it though). You'll have to shut down 2010 and restart it in order for Compatibility Mode to take effect however, but it does help get most buggy content working. :)
