Placing Items

Running 22+ and using classic surveyor mode. When I place for example one speed sign next to the track and had only clicked once I will get two or more signs. Same thing happens to placing a signal next to track. If I click rotate I'll get more than the one I placed originally. Strange 2.0

I don't quite follow your problem. In both Classic and S20 you get one item placed per click. If you click again when using the "Placement Tool" in S20 you will get another object placed.

To rotate a signal, click on the Contextual Menu icon. To move an item, use the "Free Move Tool".

I'm using classic surveyor in 22 and if I place a speed sign and click twice and rotate one that's ok. However if I then move one or both signs I may get duplicate signs or not. This happens with signals also.

I just duplicated that in Trainz Plus (TRS19) and got the same result.

The issue seems to be clicking twice with the add object tool (+) selected. The second click places another speed sign in exactly the same place as the first so when you use the move tool it moves one of the two. This explains why you get the duplicate.

Only click once when using the + tool or move the mouse pointer to another part of the track before clicking again.
