What other specs do you have on your computer? This sounds like it's related to DirectX and an NVidia videocard of some kind.

ps. Are you related to any Sirois' in the Lawrence/Andover, MA area? This is not a common name, and there is a large family of the same name that settled down here in that area.

Simply Google "PHYSXLOADER.DLL" (without the quotes) and find a wealth of info concerning this DLL. It is apparently supplied (or not supplied) by Steam. There is also a link that promised to let you download the DLL. Personally, I'd stay away from something like that due to nasty things that may happen from downloading a strange DLL.

Do NOT fall for them "fix your computer BUY THIS NOW!!" scams, they're nothing more than scams to steal money.

If this BS isn't illegal they really seriously need to pass laws that allow execution by burning at the stake for the perpetrators, it's getting so you can't google or download anything anymore without running into white collar criminals.

I'm with you on this. You wouldn't believe how many people at work have done this to their laptops and then bring them to me for repair.

The Eastern Block scams are spiffy swell too, to put it mildly. At least once a week we get someone whose hard drive is dead, but the system still boots up so they can order the software for $90.
