PEVSoft Attachment Maker Question

I have downloaded a tractor trailer called, "Day Cab With 53ft Van - FedEx," (<kuid:206307:5011>). When the tractor trailer goes around a curve the vehicle does not "bend". Instead the back of the trailer swings toward or past the outside of the curve. I've read that you can't get the vehicle to "bend". But, I wanted to add an attachment point to the back of the trailer with, "PEVSoft Attachment Maker," so that the vehicle would go around the curves in a way that is closer to realistic. When I open up the config I don't find any attachment points listed.

Assuming... there is an attachment point at the back of the truck itself:
How can I get the vehicle to keep using the attachment point at the front of the truck..., stop using the attachment point at the back of it..., and start using an attachment point that I add to the back of the trailer?

If the cab and trailer was made as one unit then you cannot make it bend no matter how many attachment points you put in. To make a cab and trailer behave as in real life they would need to be two different assets joined together in the same way as you would join a wagon to a loco. That way the cab would essetially pull the trailer along and the trailer would follow the cabe around curves as do wagons or vans behind a loco

I know that the vehicle cannot bend. What I'm wanting is to do is replace the attachment point at the back of the truck with one that I put at the back of the trailer.

Ex: Imagine that the tractor trailer is a 60 or so foot bus. The front attachment point is 2 or so feet from the front of the vehicle, which is good. But the back attachment point is 53 or so feet from the back of it. That is not good. I want to retire that attachment point and add another one that is 7 or so feet from the back of the vehicle.

OK, I get it. After I had submitted my last post I did wonder if this is what you wanted to do but this will only work if your vehicle is seen as a 'traincar' running on invisible track. You cant remove attachment points created by the orgnal author but that shouldn't matter. Follow the instructions in the attachment point maker tutorial and place your own attachment point where you want it. You will need to edit the config file to include the attachment mesh and attach a dummy bogey to your 'new' attachment point. When you now place your vehicle on its invisible track it will 'connect' to it where ever there is a bogey so if this is 1 at the front and 1 at the back then it will turn corners slightly more realistically.

An attachment point maker tutorial is posted on Peter's (Pev's) website

Andi06 has a drivable bus and I have an Austin Cambridge on the DLS. Both of these have a.bog0 and a.bog1 equally disposed about the rear axle. The front wheels are steerable and follow the invisible track. The effect is quite realistic.
