Performance

Sorry...another question from me.

Which of these has more impact on performance -

A high buffer count or a high index count ?

I have some splines which have a buffer count of 9 and an index count of 3070 and then splines that have a buffer count of 3 but and index count above 27000!

In essence what I am asking is should I look to keep my worst buffer count low or my worst index count low?

Thanks, Andy

Been a post on this recently on track. I did a bit of a test, the buffer count will stay the same, the index count will increase as you increase the length.
Segy reckons keep the buffer count down and this will increase the FPS by comparison. Replace the high with low if possible.

High buffer count is the one that does the most damage, needs to be as low as you can get it, over 100 is bad. if they are only 9 I wouldn't worry about it, I had one fence that had a worse buffer count of 600 odd.
