Performance Statistic in Surveyor

How do I turn off this data displayed called Performance Statistics? It's very distracting. Also I would love to get some "real time" help with buiding my first environment, please. Is this an option. Is it possible for somebody to work with me in real time with my virgin world? I'm a NEWBIE and would appreciate any help.

In Surveyor go to the Main Menu. Select Settings then, on the control window that will open up, select the second item on the left - General Settings and untick Show Performance Statistics in Surveyor
