Patching trainz 2009

I just purchased a boxed (DVD) Trainz 2009 WB. How do I tell its version (37625?) and what is the latest patch/service pack? Is there a single service pack that will update the retail boxed version to the latest version in one shot?

Thanks for any info.

On TS2010 it shows the build number on the launcher screen that pops up when you run Trainz from the start menu. (That 37625 does look like a build number.) In TS2010 the build number is also shown in Content Manager's Help|About window.

There appear to be SP2 installers for multiple Trainz versions. Click the Helpdesk link on the link bar near the top of the page, click Downloads, and then TS2009 SP2. Download and run the file that matches your current build.

If that is your build no. (found on the bottom of the launcher) then this link will download the latest build and SP manually.

If you have a different build, Go to this thread:
http://forums.auran.com/trainz/showthread.php?t=33679
and about halfway down the first post are the links to update to SP2 (40040)
They will update from Retail (37625) to the latest SP1 (39979) to SP2 (40040). If you already have 40040, you do not need this update. Some copies ship with SP1 preinstalled.

If you cannot find your build, I show where it is in this image:

Re where to find build number

Thanks for the info guys. My launcher does not show a build number where you indicated - just blank space. Perhaps, that's what the out-of-the-box version does. I'm assuming that my version is 37625 since some of the service packs are documented as 37625-->40040 (Retail --> 40040). The Content Help/About seems to give the CM build number (which I think is different than the game build number) - its something strange like 38411.
