PATCHED with nightmares!

Patch 49922-57720 is literally patching me with nightmares!
It takes forever to load, not good with internet like mine, when it came up, it didn't work.

Now I haven't been able to get it up again.

Try patch 49922 - 61388. Once downloaded, 2Gb worth, use this instead because it includes all the Hot Fixes 1-4. Try staying off the internet when patching. I am pretty sure it downloaded unwanted explore toolbars. Be warned, my patch took nearly 12 hours so do it overnight. Oh yes, patch a copy of 49922 instead. If anything does go wrong, at least your original is intact.

Save the TS12 user data folder before you patch, you may need it later.

I've also tried the Path Trainz Options in the start menu options. For More than 10 minutes it says its downloading, but theres not even a small sight of the green bar.

The patch file(s) are huge and the "green bar" is probably not representing the actual copying process. I recommend patching overnight and doing any clean-up tomorrow. Here are the sizes so you can judge, roughly how long the patching process will take.

49922 to 57720 = 1.8 GB with the other smaller patches are in the 20-100 MB range to bring you up to the 61388. Given that you are probably downloading the whole shebang in one shot, the 49922-61388 patch, it's probably over 2GB.

Like I told you on chat:
- Download the manual patch
- Make it 200% sure you download the patch that start with the number of your current build. You can find that number in the bottom right corner of your startup screen
- Turn off virus tester
- Make sure you closed down the game, that includes Content Manager
- Start the patch
- Do NOT try to play the game while it patches
- Have patience, a LOT of patience

The patch that takes you over 49922 will take many hours.

Another thing - do not cancel the patch just because it appears to have frozen. If it has failed, you will see Patching Aborted.
