I'm giving route building a go with this one baseboard switching "scene." Here is what I got so far, about an hours work or so.

What do you guys think?

I think those trees are scary....

You've done some good work here though, like you have the basics down. The field texture should be separated from the road in my opinion, by either a ditch or some open space or grass or dirt and/or a fence line with a dirt road inside. The farmers won't plant out to the road shoulder, and they won't pull their implements out onto the road to turn around and go back up the next row either. Oh, I'm sure it happens somewhere, but it's not the norm.

You're doing well though, keep it up!

I took your advice and did a little touch up between the field and the road. Let me know what you think. And thanks for the support, it really means alot!

Alrighty, got at least all the baseboard covered. I hate the grey and yellow baseboard texture. It's gettin there.

Nice progress - keep at it! As you work on a small route, it's easier to refine your techniques and bring the whole "layout" up to new and higher standards, while still being able to complete a route and add in all the good details. Thanks for sharing!
