So I have Ben wondering what you think of my works so far? Answer some Q's I'm Interested in knowing how my work is feel free to speak out.:cool:

Whats route do you like bust?:cool:

What route do you dislike the most?:sleep:

The out of all the loco did you like?:cool:

The did you like over all the loco's & routes? :cool:

as for Me my worst route is Dragon's pass for Msts. why too boring, long and the thing gave my a war aver time i made a changes and I scraped the route and Delete it.

as for loco's you'll be surprised but these are them MSTS loco Freedom Rail & All the DPR locos TRS locos CN F7 Set it still look bad.

OK the Bord is open give it you all;) This Train can go anywhere
 
Routes: Never used them because you have no preview pictures or description about them. While optional, some users may be turned away without these. Suggest looking into doing preview pictures, you need 2, one 240x180 for DLS thumbnail preview and one 512x512 for Surveyor. Check the CCG or search the forums for "thumbnail" to find out how. I also guess you added no description line in the config, usually DLS uses that for the description if you don't put one in. Think of something accurate that reflects the layout, might be a good idea to give a short decription of how many baseboards too.
So I suggest making new versions in CMP (you don't need to go into Surveyor and redo stuff) adding preview pictures and descriptions.:)

Haven't had time to look for new locomotives lately. Best tie I would have is when I'm :sleep: .
 
I'd have to agree. I don't download anything that doesn't have a screenshot. The description is helpful, but not necessarily required for me to download.

I like your MSTS stuff best, perhaps you should concentrate on that side a little more.

I do under stand that. So you know I try to added srceen shot in but thay don't upload at all and it p### off and I now Olny upload to my site and post the srceen there all ways srceen shot of my routes at the web site.:cool:
at the same time I may not be uploading the files right or missing someing that needs to get done and is not Is seem to have batter luck with Train-sim uploads.

I do agree with you on this

How many screen shots is needed this is insane. I add in the for the main displays and up load it bet ones upload the spited this is blank I know i added a shot but what wont to know is why won't show up ones uploaded?
if you see my new uploads you'll see it gray ware the shot is and there is a shot but it dose not show why is this ?:confused:

Pick up a copy of TC3 and upload via cmp, it checks to see if the one screen shot required is there and explains what to do if it isn't.

Did you add the config lines like this?

thumbnails {
0 {
image "screenshot.jpg"
width 240
height 180
}
1 {
image "splash_512.jpg"
width 512
height 512
}
}

The first is for DLS, the second is for Surveyor/Driver. The filenames don't have to be "screenshot" and "splash_512" those are samples but they have to refer the right files.

Q: what an "splash_512" ?
 
It is just a filename, you can use any filename there, that is the 512 x 512 image that shows up in the left bottom box when in Surveyor/Driver and you choose a route.
 
Ho I see Now I have the screenshots 240 x 180 pixels added in so hoe do i added in the 512 x 512 image? ware do's it go?
 
Main folder for the route, same as the 240 x 180 image, that's another reason you use a different name for the 512 x 512.
 
Interesting note I saw today in Classics while adding pics to things.
Seems when I commit something, it dumps/wipes the config entry for the 240 x 180 image and only keeps the 512 x 512. Odd.:eek:
 
I kinda like the route Sea Side Pass Lines but what happened to the description?:)

I know what happened to the picture.
 
I'm glad that you have gone out to replicate the CN mainline between Halifax and Truro, but I was not impressed. I thought the track work was poor and that the Halifax yard was poorly depicted. This is just my opinion, and I don't mean to be rude, but I think it is not very great
