Osprey Ridge & Blue Creek

Hi all,
Ive been adding on/rebuilding my older Rebel Route that's been on beta at Hobbyton for a few months. So far Ive added a small branch off of the main loop that's extended to the fictional town of Barefoot along Blue Creek, there so far I have a Brewery and a Quarry which seems to be the limit of the area space wise. I plan to possibly remove the mine and model another branch this time similar to one of the EX-Norfolk Southern Branches that connects to a newer coal mine.
And with all of this Ive decided to finally give a name to the Railroad owning the line, Osprey Ridge & Blue Creek.
Now onto the screenies.

Thanks for the comments guys!
A pic from last night's work on the second branch, so far im 1/2 way on the branch, track wise and ive set up some of the backdrops.

Hey montanawestren,

Nicely done! Sorry, I don't know your original route... Is this intended to be some sort of model railroad layout? Or what's the reason for the "end of the world" black areas?

I see you are still having fun using those Alco's. May I suggest to download the updated ones... having MU connectors (you can save a lot of money firing the second crew :hehe:) and fuel fillers (the money saved you can spend for fuel now :D) made by n8phu... shadow is lowered too (not sticking out on top of the hoods)...

Felix

Thanks Felix, Ill be sure to download the updated Alcos! It is intended to be a model railroad style layout, kind of like if I were to model the south in HO, although I already model southwest Montana. You could also think of them as the "end of the world" black areas. :hehe::p
Finished up some new F7 reskins today, in official OR&BC paint.

Doesn't seem to be too much interest.
2 new things from today:)
2 RS3 reskins in different paint schemes. #250 & #256, thanks to felix_g for the great detail parts and such.
And I added a interchange with the NM&W.

And on a side note all OR&BC employees receive local Virginian 'Shine at very low rates :p

Looks good and I love the OR&BC paint scheme. Don't let the lack of responses discourage you! Plenty of lurkers like me around!

I stayed looking at the pictures soooo long I had to say nice work! My next route I'm doing a model with black dead areas AHHHHHHH! saves alot of work, for example my bakersfield sub,

May take an hour and a half each farm field, but it feels like 5000! Hopfully will be out later this year through Pacific Trainz.

Cheers, and again great work. keep it slow, keep it managable and never release a date as routes are never done!

William

Got some more work done today, added a small packaging factory, Metzger Packaging Co., along the Noobmountain & Western Line. I will have a article on how I built it and how you can build your own on the blogs some time soon.
Some shots:

Theres been a bit of a time lapse since my update to the route, ive taken a short break, currently I have a newer better computer than the other so everything seems to show up much better.
never the less some more WIP shots, I know their not textured yet but I wanted to show my current work on the layout :)

Lookin' good there!

I especially like the parking job of the white truck in the bottom photo...gives the route that alive feel. :hehe:
