Operating Turntables in TS2010EE Driver Mode

OK, I give up. How do I get a turntable to rotate in Driver mode? I've tried bumping the loco back and forth on the table to find the trigger, click-drag on the table and surrounding sheds, tried J, Ctrl-J (switches change fine), clicking in map mode, many variations of the 'T' key..
I tired this in Harbor Master (Explore) and the Avery helper session.
What am I missing?
