One question regarding T:ANE and Simulator Central

Excuse me, everyone.

Back on July 5, 2014, my Mom pre-ordered Trainz: A New Era Deluxe Edition for me. However, I have a quick question regarding that and Simulator Central. Since I pre-ordered the game, and when it ships, do I wait 10 to 15 business days for it to arrive (I live in the United States), or will it arrive in 10 to 15 days with weekends included? I wish to know. Thanks.

We recommend allowing between 1 to 3 weeks for your boxed edition to arrive, as it is being shipped from our distribution center in Australia. This does include weekends, as the postal system generally still carries mail during the weekends (they just don't deliver to your home, or the post office, on weekends).

Consulting on line, I see that the typical transit time for surface mail between Australia and the US is 4 to 5 weeks, which means that N3V is using air mail to transport it to the US. Now, if N3V is using a distributor in Brisbane, then I'd expect that your shipment would travel from BNE (Brisbane) to IAH. I'd expect it to be in IAH in about 3 days after shipping, a couple of days to clear customs, and then a couple of days for ground transportation from Houston to Palacios. I'd expect that you'll have your game in a week to a week and a half. The unpredictable parts are where your order is in the queue, and exactly when it gets released in Houstson.

If you'r anxious to get it sooner, perhaps you could negotiate getting the right to a digital download since you already bought a boxed set.

Thanks for the reply, but there is one thing that troubles me, thinking about it now. Will I be able to track the package once it ships (which could be on May 15, if it does not ship earlier than that day)? That is one thing that I wish to know the answer to. Thanks.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide tracking numbers for international orders, as Australia does not provide this service for them at the standard price (the price jump, last I checked, was quite high for registered/tracked international postage over standard).
