One More Portal Question

I have two consist using portals. Consist one runs South and enters South Portal while consist two runs North and enters North Portal. No problems until I save the session. After reentering the session consist two disappears from the session. Is this normal? Are there any fixes for this? Thanks.

Be sure that at the save time the portal isn't consuming or producing a consist.

I have mentioned this several times in other posts for several years by now. Looks like it is falling in deaf ears.

llebrez, I read your post in my thread so at least I'm listening. I asked the question hoping someone else might have an answer or a suggestion. Why does one consist appear and not the other?

MountE, both consist were well clear of any portals.

This sounds like something happens when returning back from a saved session, which seems to affect other scripted assets as well such as signals states, industries, and other assets.

Does not saving and returning make a difference?

John, how can you return to a session if you haven't saved it or am I missing something here. At the end of a session you have three choices, save, don't save and cancel.

On his first post is very clear that he saves it. Then he opens the saved session. And as stated, some consist return, others not. Very clear to me. But in my case, I lost every consist that is inside of the portal waiting to be produced by the set time. This "particularity" has been there at least since 04, and has been brought to helpdesk several times. Hoping that it would be corrected "in the next iteration", here we are today writing about the same thing.
