One bug with Editing

TS2009 is a software with many bugs. This is one:
I wanted to change the hornsound for CP Rail System SD40-2. Right click, Edit->Content Creator Plus. Answer NO to "update" question. Look for entry 'hornsound', click a ... button, select Airhorn 1. Save and Exit. Success, no errors. Again, Edit->Commit. Go back to Surveyor.
Guess what? the consist I had before not it is gone! And I can not longer select this locomotive. What a piece of crap this software is!
A simple change like this is breaking the entire game...couldn't believe it.
I regret paying for TS2010 already....

I think even if you answer no if you save it the version number gets changed. Happened a few times, minor problem really, try this, Edit in explorer and change the version number back to whatever it was to start with probably 2.5? hopefully will be ok then and should have the new horn sound.
Advisable not to edit old content in Content creator plus if you can help it, use explorer and notepad.

Had I known this sooner it would have saved a reinstall.;) I hosed the whole thing screwing around with CCP. Ended up with 600+ items red in the list.:( After a reinstall I'm a little more carefull.

CCP is Content CREATOR Plus not Content Editor Plus. It's best used for creating content in TS2009 or editing TS2009 content. If you want to make changes to content of previous versions, use Edit in Explorer.
