Older routes on TS2022 compatible question

I am wondering if a route built in 2015 can be run on TS2022? I am looking at the Corpus Christi Terminal by MAXWERX in the DLS specifically. Thanks for any guidance on this subject, I also see many third party routes that state they are built for 2019 and above, does this piggy-back off of my initial question?

Starting with TANE and above, almost everyone will work for TS22.
I run some routes on TS22, created for TS2006 without issues. You just need to try each route to find out its performance for TS22.

Hi,
There have been changes throughout the different versions. For example, old routes may have “billboard trees”, converted to Speedtreez then absent in later versions. Some built-in assets have vanished.
I find that I need to import and than export *some* old routes via TS12, TANE, TS19.
If it works, great, sometimes it needs a fair bit of work
