Older content upgraded to TRS2009 not working in 04 or 06

Have been coming across some older content 04 & 06 items which have been upgraded to 09.The items of content now don't appear and/or can't be used any longer in in any routes made in either 04 or 06 either as scenery or building tools.

So far only problems in my own local routes with content now not available which I can work around.

Is must also be the case with DLS content also where content if used is no longer a known item.

Anyone else found this?

Certainly upgraded stuff may not work in earlier versions. So you say the it will not work in layouts made for TRS2006 and moved to TS2009? I have not experienced it (yet).

If you mean the items don't show in versions 04 & 06 it's probably because the Trainz Build in the config file has been changed to 2.9 after the upgrade. Depending on what the changes were the content may still work in versions earlier that 09 - just edit the build number in the upgraded contents config file to the earlier build number..... At your own risk though!!!! I suggest you don't do this for locos as the specs were changed from TC3 onwards and they are not likely to work in earlier versions.

If you mean routes created in 04 and 06 running in 09 and the content is not showing then I don't know.
