Old Military Boxcars

I have uploaded version 2 of a US Army boxcar to the DLS and TPR. It's available now at TPR. Here's the screenshot for those interested. It has 15 different assignable numbers thanks to Eldavo's Chameleon script.

I thought you were into scenery items not high detailed rolling stock. Chris wondered if he could have one with doors that opened when it arrived at a loading bay. Well actually we want the script that does it so we can build a Mail carriage that operates to pick up mail with a net that sticks out of the carriage.

Well, thanks to you John, I think I might start doing some detailed rolling stock. I'm just really hooked on creating new things and learning new things. I can do the meshes and animation for the doors, but I don't have a script to make them operate. I can read a script and basically understand what it's doing, but writing one is not something that I'm comfortable with yet. There are probably some scripts out there that we could probably use, but I'm not sure how to tie them into the animation in Gmax.

Thanks Lorin. I think it's a beginning to quite a few meshes that I'm going to be working on. My next is a flat as soon as I can get the pictures that I want. I know where there's a couple of old army flats as soon as I can get to them.

I love the steps and roof vent. It looks very realistic.
