Old head-end equipment - baggage and heavyweight mail car? I think they belonged to the Boston and Albany (NYC).
There's lots of other neat stuff around here too including tracks buried in the road and along one of the streets. This used to be a heavy industrial area that manufactured railroad cars and other machinery back in its heyday.
